Recess!

I'm giving myself five minutes to blog. Whatever comes into my head will be posted. Could be dangerous, but maybe, just maybe it will be less stressful.
Recess, for instance; what ever happened to that glorious 15 minutes/twice a day when friends would gather and forget the stresses of life. Swinging, running, playing with a ball, forming clubs that were exclusive to just your friends. Sometimes there was drama at recess over boyfriends and who was going steady with whom. Girls can be mean, and one minute your best friends the next your going to kill each other. Usually by the end of the day your friends again, and if not, by the next day at recess you were. Kids go out to recess no matter the weather. It could be cold and snowing and they love it just as much as the day that is sunny, as long as they can play.
I haven't had a recess for quite a while, but I think giving ourselves time to play and enjoy ourselves and friends is important. It brings the joy back into life if only for a moment and makes the hard work barible.
