4th of July Fun

 We decided to try something new yesterday, we got an all day pass on Trax. We left the car behind to avoid any traffic jams to see what the train system has to offer.

 We went up to the City Creek Mall. Beautiful place and fun atmosphere. We had lunch and ice cream, strolled around and watched people.

Oh my, am I that fat? Sheesh.

 Afterwards we went to a baseball game at the Bees Stadium to watch the all American sport, very patriotic don't you think? The game was packed. We sat by a dating couple, the guy was an artist so we chatted art. We also chatted about TV shows like Seinfeld and Arrested Development. After the game they had a fun firework show that we watched on our backs in the actual outfield. The grass was spectacular, just like carpet.

Ya, that was fun. We were so close that debris from the fireworks fell on us. We hugged our new friends goodbye. It's so funny when that happens, when you feel like you've know someone a lot longer than 3 hours. It makes you wonder...

Our 4th of July turned out fun, definitely different since we tried new things, but fun.
