The last week seemed like an eternity. We went down to the Bear Lake Baseball Tournament that lasted three days. Shawn's team had another challenging tournament, playing against "boys that have hair under their arms" as Gregg puts it. But, they did play some good ball. In the end they were placed in a lower division with teams just like themselves, and took third place. The highlight of the tournament wasn't playing ball at all, but playing football at night in the motel parking lot, and going to Bear Lake. We had fun with the other team members parents, some great people. Okay, there are some... kooks, but they didn't hang with us, obviously.
We couldn't have asked for better weather. It was perfect, not to hot... we couldn't have asked for better.

After the tournament we took off for Denver, that will have to be a whole other blog.

My neighbors went to the Bear Lake tournament too! I think everyone had a good time. However, I bet you are glad that baseball is finally over for the summer. Whew! Obviously you got your life back. I can't wait to hear about Denver!
